“No one wants inefficient housing.”
Efficiency is using the least amount of energy or material to fulfill one’s objective. Efficiency on the public housing scale translates to repetition at the individual unit scale. Whose favorite place in the world is the same as a place 20 feet west of that exact location? Is there room for the idiosyncratic or the unique? Maybe there is more than staging the participation of the user.

Economy of Scales is important to answering this concern. Can the intimate moments be connected efficiently to the communal moments while preserving the wealth of both. Maybe those rooms in the back of those deep floor plans were getting too much daylight. Consider below and here places that are the astonishing results of the camera obscura effect.
